TEAM KIT GUIDELINES
- The main differentiator about the European Championship is that it is a TEAM event rather than an individual entry event. This provides a fantastic opportunity for Countries to differentiate their team through the design of their national team kit.
- Each Country will be responsible for designing their kit but within EPF guidelines.
- The reason for having guidelines is to protect the sponsors that are paying money to be part of the European Championship. It is standard practice for the Olympics or Commonwealth Games to have very limiting guidelines to ensure that brands that are not paying the organisers are not featured with, for example, the Olympic brand. In other words, to stop anyone from ‘Ambush Marketing’ the Championship.
- Clothing sponsorship is being negotiated. The detailed guidelines will be provided to teams when they formally enter their team and clothing sponsorship is concluded
