TEAM KIT GUIDELINES

  • The main differentiator about the European Championship is that it is a TEAM event rather than an individual entry event. This provides a fantastic opportunity for Countries to differentiate their team through the design of their national team kit.
  • The reason for having guidelines is to protect the sponsors that are paying money to be part of the European Championship. It is standard practice for the Olympics or Commonwealth Games to have very limiting guidelines to ensure that brands that are not paying the organisers are not featured with, for example, the Olympic brand. In other words, to stop anyone from ‘Ambush Marketing’ the Championship.
  • Each team is responsible to provide their own clothing which must be uniform and identical design and branding for all team members of the Country.
  • Branding and Sponsor’s Logos: The EPC2025 Organising Committee will notify all participating Countries no later than June 30th, 2025 as to common branding regulations and which major EPC2025 sponsors may not be conflicted with.
  • Team Sponsors’ Logos will be permitted on the sleeves of the T-shirt and on shorts or skirts or tracksuit tops. On the condition that the sponsors are not in direct commercial conflict with the EPC 2025 Sponsors (will be announced by June 30, 2025)
  • A total of two (2) commercial identifications of a Nation’s Team Sponsor, neither of which exceeds 26sq cm (4 square inches) shall be permitted on the shorts/skirts/skorts.
  • No individual sponsor’s logo is allowed for any player.
  • Each team must submit the detailed designs for all team kit to the EPC2025 Organising Committee for approval no later than 31st July 2025 (epc2025@epfpb.org)
  • Teams must wear their designated match kits as approved by the EPC2025 Organising Committee for all of their games.
  • Any team failing to comply with these kit regulations may face disqualification for a match or from the EPC2025.
